Hello, I’m Mr Kirkland.

Since graduating from university, I’ve never had a job and opted for a life of working on my own terms. I’ve founded several businesses, lived between Tokyo, Berlin, London and a few spots in South East Asia. I’m a fan of bullet points, I’m sure you are too so:

• Founded artweb.com web hosting platform and gallery for over 30,000 artists

• Co-founder of the media company Fast Train Limited, whose flagship site is  tokyocheapo.com, a popular Tokyo blog with over a million monthly page views

• Occasional speaker and occasional headstands

• Mentor/LP at Calm Company Fund and Shizen Capital

• 20 years working remotely and fan of using tightops for managing teams
